[HASTINGS, NE March 30, 2026] — Cooperative Producers, Inc. (CPI) has announced plans to construct a new 2,000,000-bushel grain building at its shuttle loading facility in Red Cloud, Nebraska. The project will also include the addition of a 30,000-bushel-per-hour dump pit and receiving leg.
Construction is currently underway, with completion expected in early fall 2026. The facility is anticipated to be fully operational in time for fall harvest.
“Southern Nebraska and Northern Kansas have experienced record yields several times over the past few years,” said Justin Yoesel, Vice President of Grain at Cooperative Producers, Inc. “The improvements to our Red Cloud facility will significantly enhance our ability to handle increased volumes more quickly and efficiently than ever before. In addition to increased speed and capacity, these upgrades will improve our flexibility and efficiency when loading shuttle trains.”
Yoesel also expressed gratitude to the CPI Board of Directors for their continued commitment to facility investment. Further details will be available as the projects progress.
