[HASTINGS, NE April 22, 2022] Cooperative Producers, Inc. (CPI) is pleased to announce the 2022 CPI Scholarship recipients. Five dependents of CPI patrons and three dependents of CPI employees have been selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship for the 2022-2023 academic year.
“The CPI Scholarship Program is one way we can help support students who will soon enter the workforce,” said CPI CEO, Gary Brandt. “We are proud to help support their educational journey and look forward to seeing what the future holds for them.”
Each year, students planning to enroll in post-secondary education, who are dependents of CPI members or employees are eligible to apply to receive a scholarship. This includes graduating high school seniors, as well as college freshmen and sophomores.
Patron dependents awarded scholarships are:
Nathaniel Jones – Doniphan, NE
Lacey Schmidt – Deshler, NE
Wyatt Brockman – Lawrence, NE
Gage Fries – Minden, NE
Abigail Meyer – Blue Hill, NE
Employee dependents awarded scholarships are:
Tayler Holdsworth – Hastings, NE
Claire Van Laningham – Hildreth, NE
Mikayla Chaon – Grand Island, NE
Scholarship recipients were selected based on academic achievements, leadership, honors, and extracurricular activities. Along with the application, students were asked to submit an essay about what CPI’s Vision Statement means to them.
