[HASTINGS, NE July 28, 2025] — Cooperative Producers, Inc. (CPI) has announced plans to expand grain bunker storage at several of its Nebraska locations. The facilities with planned expansions include Campbell, Fairmont, Funk, Hastings, Hayland, Ragan, Ruskin and Wilcox.
In addition to increasing storage capacity, CPI is also upgrading unload speeds at Campbell, Funk, Hastings, Ragan, and Ruskin locations. Construction is currently underway at each site, with project completion expected before the start of the 2025 fall harvest.
“CPI has invested heavily in speed and space over the last 10 years, and this year is no different,” said Justin Yoesel, Vice President of Grain at Cooperative Producers, Inc. “These expansions will add more than 7 million bushels of storage capacity and increase combined unload speed to 110,000 bushels per hour. At CPI, we’re driven by our mission to make local matter. These operational enhancements will allow our producers to spend more time in the field and less time waiting at our facilities.”
Yoesel also expressed gratitude to the CPI Board of Directors for their continued commitment to facility investment. Further details will be available as the projects progress.
