CPI to Expand Storage at Red Cloud Location

[HASTINGS, NE August 1, 2019] — Cooperative Producers, Inc. (CPI) has announced its plans for the construction of two new 625,000-bushel bins at their shuttle loading facility in Red Cloud, NE. The new site will also add an additional 20,000-bushel per hour dump pit and receiving leg. Construction is set to begin once the current bins have been torn down. Project completion is planned for late summer 2020 and should be fully functional by next fall harvest.

“Southern Nebraska and Northern Kansas have seen record yields several times over the past few years. The updates to our Red Cloud facility will greatly change our ability to handle more volume quicker and more efficiently than ever before,” said Justin Yoesel, Vice President of Grain at Cooperative Producers, Inc. “In addition to speed and space the improvements will also increase our flexibility and efficiencies when loading shuttle trains.”
