[HASTINGS, NE December 5, 2022] — Cooperative Producers, Inc. (CPI) has announced its plans for the construction of a new 2,000,000-bushel grain building with 20,000 bushels per hour receiving speed at their facility in Ruskin, NE. Construction is set to begin soon with completion planned prior to fall harvest 2023.
“We recognize that Ruskin needs a major investment. With the continued business we receive from the growers in the Ruskin area, we knew we needed to invest in more speed and space. This will provide CPI with the opportunity to minimize the number of bushels put on ground piles,” said Justin Yoesel, Vice President of Grain at Cooperative Producers, Inc. “We firmly believe this project will allow our farmers to expedite their harvest by spending less time at our facility and more time in the field.” Further details will be available as the project progresses.
