[HASTINGS, NE September 16, 2024] — Cooperative Producers, Inc. (CPI) has hired Kevin Kalsbeck as Vice President of Energy, effective September 16, 2024. He will work closely with current Vice President Larry Ehrman to ensure a smooth transition, as Larry plans to retire in 2025.
Kevin brings 30 years of experience in the cooperative system, having held various positions within the energy sector at both local and regional cooperatives. His most recent role was Vice President of Energy at Country Partners Cooperative.
“CPI has been fortunate to work with Kevin in various roles over the last 20 years. Given his abilities and deep understanding of agriculture in Nebraska, we are very excited to have him join us,” stated Gary Brandt, CEO.
Kevin grew up on a crop and livestock farm in eastern South Dakota. He and his wife live in Kearney, where they are raising their two daughters.
