CPI will offer five patron scholarships of $1,000 each in 2026. All applications must be submitted by March 20, 2026.
Qualifications
The applicant must be a dependent of a CPI patron who holds deferred equity and at least one share of common stock in Cooperative Producers, Inc.
The applicant must be a high school senior or in their first year of post-secondary education and plan to attend a two- or four-year post-secondary institution in Fall 2026. Preference will be given to applicants who plan to pursue an education and career in an agriculture-related field.
Students who were awared a CPI scholarship last year are not eligible to apply again.
The applicant must provide a high-resolution photo to be used in publications if awarded.
The applicant must complete the application in its entirety and submit an essay on the following topic:
“To be the best solutions provider, growing partnerships to achieve employee and customer success.” What does this mean to you?No references may be made in the essay that identify the applicant.
You may reference a state name or CPI location within the essay.

Applications missing any of the required materials will not be eligible for the scholarship and will be discarded. Online applications must be received by March 20, 2026.
Selection Process
All applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. The committee may conduct face-to-face interviews with selected finalists.
Award Notification
Successful applicants will receive an offer letter via U.S. Mail. The offer letter will outline the process for accepting, rejecting, or—at CPI’s discretion—deferring the scholarship. If the recipient does not respond by the deadline stated in the offer letter, the scholarship will be rescinded.
The scholarship award will be sent directly to the educational institution upon verification of attendance during the Fall 2026 semester.
